At Odds Insight we have many considerations that account for our predictions. Assessing the relative values are very important factors related to predicting the outcome of the game. Other than the obvious considerations, home or away, human factor, value in the number, that apply to all sports handicapping, we also have the type of surface, artificial or natural in football.

The handicapper must see through peaks and valleys each team will inevitably experience. Most sports writers fall into the trap of jumping to conclusions based on sketchy evidence from 1 or 2 games. They will express opinions based on the most circumstantial evidence. It’s amusing to see a writer zig and zag from week to week, forgetting what he had written in a previous column. The uniformed fan unfortunately is swayed by these alternating reports. The lesson this teaches us is that one game has little, if any, bearing on the next one.
